Employer Match
Many U.S. employers match employee charitable donations. Some match 1:1, some 2:1 or 3:1. Check if your gift can be doubled.
501(c)(3) requirement
Most U.S. employer-match programs require the receiving organization to have IRS 501(c)(3) status. Bakara 195 Corporation has not yet applied for 501(c)(3) recognition. For employer matches in the meantime, your match can be directed to a 501(c)(3) fiscal-sponsor partner that grants the matched funds to Bakara 195 Corporation for your designated cause.
Check Your Employer
Approximately 26 million U.S. employees work for companies with matching-gift programs. Common matchers include: Bank of America, Microsoft, Apple, Google, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, GE, Intel, Disney, and many federal/state employers.
- 1 Search your employer's HR portal for "Matching Gifts," "Charitable Match," or "Workplace Giving."
- 2 Most employers use platforms like Benevity, YourCause / Blackbaud, CyberGrants, or Double the Donation.
- 3 Submit a match request after donating. Many employers will pre-confirm whether Bakara 195 Corporation's fiscal-sponsor partner is on their approved-recipient list.
- 4 Forward your match confirmation to [email protected] so we can track and document the matched gift.
Donate First, Match Later
The typical workflow: make your donation now, then submit a match request through your employer's system. Most matching-gift programs accept submissions for the previous calendar year through the following March or April.
