Where Your Money Goes
$30-$50/month sponsorship covers comprehensive student support.
$5,000 builds a classroom — long-term Sadaqah Jariyah infrastructure.
Cause-based, anonymous — protects child privacy, ensures continuous funding.
Quarterly impact reports with program-level photos and statistics.
Education is one of the three explicitly named forms of Sadaqah Jariyah in the famous hadith of Sahih Muslim. Every student who learns and passes knowledge to others continues the chain of beneficial knowledge — and the donor shares in that reward.
Bakara 195's education program operates in post-conflict zones, refugee resettlement areas, and under-served rural communities. We work with verified school partner networks to ensure that scholarships and infrastructure investments produce real educational outcomes — not just enrollment numbers.
Choose monthly sponsorship for ongoing student support, or one-time classroom construction for permanent Sadaqah Jariyah infrastructure. Both build a future for students and continuous reward for the donor.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this person-based or cause-based?+
Cause-based. Bakara 195 does not publish individual student stories or names. Your contribution is pooled with other sponsors and allocated to verified eligible students in our partner school networks. Quarterly impact reports include anonymized photos and program-level statistics.
Where are programs located?+
Educational sponsorship operates in regions where Bakara 195 has verified school partner networks: post-conflict zones (Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Sudan), under-served rural communities, and refugee resettlement areas. Specific program locations are documented in monthly transparency reports.
What does the $50/month scholarship cover?+
School fees, books and supplies, uniform, daily school meal (where applicable), and transportation costs. For orphan students, a portion also goes to the caregiver/guardian to ensure home support for studies.
Why is education Sadaqah Jariyah?+
The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them." (Sahih Muslim 1631) Knowledge passed down — through funded education — is one of the three explicitly mentioned forms of Sadaqah Jariyah.
Can I donate Zakat to education?+
Yes — when the recipients are eligible per Quran 9:60 (poor, needy, orphans). Many of our supported students qualify. Designate "Zakat" intention at donation time. School building/classroom construction itself is not eligible for Zakat.
